Therapy Approach:
My work is grounded in an eclectic, client-centred approach that integrates principles from CBT, DBT, and unconditional positive regard. As a trained suicide prevention volunteer, I bring a sensitive, trauma-informed lens to my work, especially while supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress, hopelessness, or overwhelming life challenges. I believe that therapy is not about assigning labels, but about deeply understanding the individual , their experiences, what has shaped them, and how they make sense of their inner world.
At the heart of my work is the belief that here, you matter. I strive to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, accepted, and valued just as you are. A space where you don’t have to explain or justify your pain, and where your experiences are met with compassion and respect. Therapy, for me, is about walking alongside you at your own pace, helping you feel less alone as you navigate what feels heavy or overwhelming. I believe even the smallest shift like a changed thought, a new perspective, or a healthier response can create meaningful and lasting change. If my work helps even one person move toward greater clarity, resilience, or self-compassion, it is deeply fulfilling for me.
