Hi, I’m a trauma-trained psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, and emotional healing. I specialize in somatic therapy, Compassionate Inquiry (developed by Dr. Gabor Maté), narrative therapy, and inner child healing—integrative approaches that support deep transformation at the level of both body and mind.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University (2009) and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner. I’m also trained in suicide prevention and currently pursuing advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, TIST (Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment), and Somatic Psychotherapy.
I work with a wide range of concerns including complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, infertility, gender and sexuality, life transitions, relationship challenges, narcissistic abuse, emotional neglect, and inner child wounds. I’m a cert. queer-affirmative therapist with a cert. in suicide prevention and crisis support.
Over the years, I’ve been featured in ober 50 + global media including the BBC, HuffPost, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and The Hindu. My writing on mental health has appeared in The Times of India and Life Positive, and I’ve spoken on platforms like Josh Talks and BRUT.
I was honored with an award by SRL Laboratories for my contribution to mental health awareness and was recognized as a “40 Under 40” achiever by the Indian Achiever’s Club for leadership and impact in the field of mental health.
Most importantly, my work is deeply rooted in lived experience and well as theoretical knowledge and a deep commitment to skill fine tuning . Having personally navigated C-PTSD, eating disorders, and suicidal ideation, I offer therapy that is not only trauma informed —but human-informed.
